Stinger Quad-Aer 3000 30-Inch Riding Aerator With Factory-Installed SeedBox 30 This Quad-Aer 3000 leaves the factory with the SeedBox 30 already fitted, so a crew can core and overseed a lawn in one pass. The SeedBox drops seed through a baffled chute across the full 30-inch working width while the tines pull cores up to 4 inches deep, and a Kawasaki FS651 powers the machine at up to 7 mph, with a hydrostatic direct tine drive and no chains. SeedBox 30 Controller on the Quad-Aer 3000 The controller has four buttons: power, AUTO, and up and down arrows for the seed flow setting. In manual mode the power button alone starts and stops seed flow. In AUTO, seed flows only while the tines are down, so lifting them at the end of a pass also stops the seed. Settings run from 1 to 70, and the display reads ON in manual mode, OF with everything off, AU in auto, or the current setting number. Tines and Seed Together The Quad-Aer 3000 raises or lowers its tines in under half a second, by Stinger’s figure, using the foot pedal or the three-position tine switch. With the SeedBox in AUTO, those same tine moves switch seeding on and off, so the operator handles one control for both jobs. Factory SeedBox or Bolt-On Later The standard Quad-Aer 3000 takes the SeedBox 30 as a separate attachment, which also fits the GT30.
