Walking the Gateway Onto the Dual Carrier The Gateway manual has the operator load a carrier from the ground, not the platform, walking the machine up with the speed control. Where it has to be pushed by hand instead, a quarter turn of the freewheel hex nut on the hydrostatic pump lets it roll without the engine, and the manual warns that it can then roll away on a ramp or slope if left unattended.
